I noticed the name Ruzzo, which is also my name. Is your family originally from Fornelli, Italy? I have been researching the Ruzzo family for over 20 years and was able to trace back to my great X4 grandparents, Matteo and Camilla Ruzzo born in 1780's. I would be interested in hearing from you. I am in Rhode Island. I am also wondering if the Ruzzo's I have found on web that live out where you live and mid west may be related. Matteo Ruzzo had a son Tomasso, born around 1810. Married in 1839. We cant find any more info on him such as who his children were. It is a long shot but maybe his descendants are all the Ruzzo's out there in mid west. Tomasso had 2 brothers, Satornino and Domenico. I am descended from Domenico who was born in 1812 and married Giovanna Padula born 1813.
